Ray Warren began as an Arthur Murray instructor and has taught and studied Ballroom and Latin dance since 1978 in: CA, FL, MA, NH, and VT.
“My goal, with my wife Lucinda, is to help dancers feel good about themselves while learning the fundamentals and refinements of social ballroom dance; learning to move through space and time with a partner and receiving the health benefits of better poster, balance, strength, and joy.”
- 2004: Ray formed “Shall We Dance?” to bring social dance to the community of Brattleboro, VT at the historic stone church.
- 2008: Shall We Dance raised $14,000 for eight selected charities.
- 2009: manager and assistant manager of historic stone Church.
Lucinda Dee Warren
Lucinda has been dancing Ballroom since 2005 and teaching at “Shall We Dance?” with Ray since 2010. She has a strong passion for dance and teaching dance. She and Ray are continuously studying their dance to be able to bring to their teaching the best they can. Her addition to “Shall We Dance?” has brought a great gift of her view and teaching skills. She is able to easily focus on both the leader’s and follower’s needs. She is always kind and clear in her critique and direction. Her passion shines through.
When she is not dancing, Lucinda is a Restorative Massage Therapist, Cranial Sacral Therapist, and Energy Worker, with an equal passion for her healing work.
